Blog Laps
Putting the blog in bogan.
There are so many different classes of people that I hate. This is in addition to my hatred for people in general.
Profile
Apparently Posh and Becks want to appear on Neighbours to raise their international profile. Do you think they realise that David Beckham is already pretty much the highest profiled person in every country that gets Neighbours?
Louis XV
Louis XV was stabbed in the back at one stage and it was worried he might die. The surgeon's solution was to bleed him.
Heave ho out of my sight
The dockers have terrible colours. Whenever there's a big game it's like a whole lot of clowns have suddenly been released on the street. And bogan clowns at that.
LynxDry
Ooooooh Lynx have brought out an anti-perspirant deodorant. Why has noone else thought of this idea before?
Bumps
I think it'd be terrible if the AFL outlawed bumps. It'd turn footy into such a pansy game. What're they going to get rid of next? Players often injure themselves when landing from taking marks, we should get rid of marks.
Andrew Demetriou says "The game is being played at such a speed now with split-second decisions and players changing direction that it's worthy of analysis." The main reason being played at such speed now is that the afl keeps changing the rules to make it faster.

afl.com.au
It took till the third week of the finals for the afl to finally get the four main news sections (as I see it) of the website actually showing news from the current day. Now if they'd only get rid of that stupid splash screen and start publishing more stories then I'd be somewhat happy.
al-Qaeda
al-Qaeda has threatened to massacre Christians in response to remarks about Islam by Pope Benedict XVI that have caused offence across the Muslim world. How is that different to before when they massacred Christians?
50 years of television
This 50 years of television show is quite crap. It's full of fluff but has very little content. 20-to-1 is overly full of fluff but this show makes it look good.
The wheels have fallen off the bandwagon
Apparently the dockers game hasn't sold out. You freo supporters make me sick.
Waving
I hate when you're driving and you wave at someone who has let you in or waited for you to come past on a narrow street and they wave back. It always makes me wonder if they understand the exchange at all. They've done me a favour and I'm thanking them. I'm not waving to say hello and I haven't just done them a favour that they need to thank me for.
This is entirely consistent with me liking of how bus drivers wave at each other and me liking to lift a hand to other drivers in the country because in both of those exchanges both parties full understand what's going on, unlike the stupid twits that wave back in the city.

Conspiracy theory
This show I'm watching about 9/11 is the kind of thing that gives conspiracy theories a bad name.
Acer
Acer lost the laptop I bought from them and the replacement won't arrive till nearly 3 weeks after I ordered it.
It's the kind of service I've come to expect from Dell.

AFL Website
You'd think the afl website would have more than a couple of articles a day in the first week of the finals.
Lions
The Brisbane Lions are having their end of season trip in Cairns. It's gotta to be the shortest distance any AFL team's ever travelled for their footy trip.
Recluse
I hate people. I reckon by my mid-30s I'll be all the way to being a bitter, angry old man. I better make my fortune quickly so I can become a recluse.
Police
Yesterday the WA Police performed industrial action that involved them only dealing with life-threatening situations for a two hours periods. I think this is the most irresponsible piece of industrial action I've ever seen. Valid claim or not (and I have my doubts about the validity of it) the police have a duty to the public.
Howard's comments
While I agree that migrants to Australia should learn Australia I think it's stupid how he picks on muslims in the call. In addition to seeming to be trying to use them as political capital, he seems to be falling for the misconception that there is only one muslim culture, whereas there are actually more likely to be cultures of different countries of origins, whose people happen to be muslim.
The "iGeneration"
The West has published the results of a survey into the political knowledge of 18-30 year olds. Worryingly it shows that "41 per cent failed identify which party is in power in the State" and only "46 per cent could identify Alan Carpenter as Premier." I was relieved to discover that it's clearly inaccurate or wrong as it says that only "44% drink more than the daily recommended number of drinks at least three times a month."
Yes I'm aware that you probably don't know who the premier is Liam.
