Blog Laps
Putting the blog in bogan.
The Dry
I haven't had a drink in a week. And my cold still hasn't got better. I'm taking this as proof that alcohol doesn't have a negative impact when you're sick.
Wheel
According to Logitech, the average computer user spins their mouse's scroll wheel about 26 feet in an eight-hour day.
Good old collingwood for ever
If Mick Malthouse spent as much time disciplining his players as he did disciplining the media, maybe there wouldn't be an issue.
Liam
Now's probably a good time to bring up the message I got from Liam 3 weeks ago:
"Looking at the fixtures, I reckon the Eagles are all but certain to not finish in the top two. Hate footy."

Captain Outrage
"Liam" has started blogging on captainoutrage.blogspot.com again. He wants me to advertise it to people.
Romans
Supposedly at one stage almost all of the cultivated land in the western Roman Empire was owned by 2000 people.
David Hicks
Fair enough if people don't agree with the process the US has gone through with David Hicks, but I just don't understand why anyone (other than his family) would want him returned to Australia. This is a guy who has admitted to training with al-Qaeda in guerilla tactics and urban warfare. He has met and defended Osama bin Laden in the past.
I'm not suggesting a solution but I don't understand why so many people support the return of someone who has trained (in his words) "for military operations and jihad".

Sucked in Freo
While making the finals for the second time might seem like cause for celebration for Fremantle Dockers fans, it means that you're probably stuck with Chris Connolly for at least another year. Sucked in.
Stupid
I quite like the song "Prisoner of Society" by The Living End but the line "We don't refer to the past when showing what we've done." has always pissed me off. How are you supposed to show what you've done without referring to the past?
Pewters
The one billionth computer was sold in 2002. The two billionth will be sold some time next year

Justin Timberlake is a dickhead. So is the guy who wrote this article.

Betting
I think it's ridiculous that Freo is paying $35 for the premiership and the Bulldogs $51. Even with their injury list, surely you'd think the bulldogs would be more likely to get there. It is fremantle after all.
Middle East
From an article: "The US-French resolution for a ceasefire marked a significant advance after weeks of stalled diplomacy aimed at ending the conflict."
I don't see how it's a significant advance given neither side involved in the conflict have agreed to anything. Or are likely to any time soon.

Tanking?

This seems a little dodgy to me. While I think an early pre-season would be a good idea given we often struggled to play four quarters this year, I have reservations about abandoning a season before it's over.
