Movie

Hollywood complains about how people downloading movies is hurting their attendances (I'm not certain that they complain about this, but I assume they do) but I think the crap selection of films they put out is much more to blame. There haven't been that many films that I've actually wanted to see at the movies the last couple of years, and most of those that I have have been shit.

Roo Generation

After all the media harping on for much of the year about how the roos weren't getting any members this year, and how we were going to have to move to the gold coast to survive, for the second year in a row we've got a record number of members (no thanks to Dan who refused to join).

Older workers

I don't understand why businesses are so reluctant to hire anyone over 55. It's not as if anyone younger is likely to stay at your company for more than 2-5 years in today's climate. Is it because they're worried about having to pay for more sick leave?

A couple of days ago I got a text message from Liam saying how he hated how poms are always complaining that it's too hot. Then yesterday he sent me one saying that it was very hot but that he wasn't complaining. This morning he sent me one saying that it was too hot and why don't Poms have air conditioning.

Fucking hell. I just watched High School Musical. I think it was fucking shit. I sat through the whole thing thinking that the couple would at least kiss at the end but they didn't fucking kiss. Fucking Disney.
